Hebrews 6:9-12

15 07 2011

Hebrews 6:9) But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.

Hebrews 6:10) For God [is] not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, [in that] you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Hebrews 6:11) And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

Hebrews 6:12) that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

That sounds nice doesn’t it… simply minister to those who haven’t heard of Jesus; but these days it’s not so much as who hasn’t heard as it is who refuses to hear of Him.  But all we can do is minister to them, pray for them, and love them… but we can’t believe for them, they have to believe for themselves just as we all must.  Work for the Lord and for are fellow man… for he doesn’t delight in the short comings of man, and doesn’t desire that any leave Him.  He made us so that we can live each day in joy with him; it’s through the works of Satan and our own desires that can keep us from him, so do not live for temporary joys.
